In our tailor’s shop, we put everything aside: drawings and sketches. Samples of fabric, leather or buttons. Magazine clippings and paper patterns. Most of all, we keep a sample of every glove we have sewn in all these years. We don’t like to throw anything away, we area Neapolitans, that’s the way we are.We put everything in a pair of large wardrobes, which my father used for archives all those years ago. They are very important to us and we thought it was time to have a different archive, let’s say digital. Taglia-e-cuci was born: more than a monthly newsletter, but a chat between friends; a place to talk about everything: style, new products, how to take measures for a glove, fashion and more. A nip and tuck between friends and this is only an introduction.
See you later, Max.
